Play / Pause button

Press the Play / Pause button on either the hand-held mike or on the screen to start / pause your recording or playback.

If the option "Show dictation function in Windows taskbar" is activated in either the Recorder or the Player, the symbol will be displayed in the taskbar during playback.

During playback the Play / Pause button will illuminate.

If QuickBack is active in Recorder, and the position is at the end of a dictation,  then the Play / Pause button will be red to indicate that activating it will playback the last seconds and then record further.
