Audio Column (A)

When a dictation is recorded in the Recorder, an audio file is created, as shown in Column "A" of the Dictation Overview as a loudspeaker symbol. The meanings of all the symbols in this column are shown in the following table:

Symbol	Description
Loudspeaker	An audio file exists and can be loaded into the Player or Recorder.
Loudspeaker & sheet of paper	An audio file and a speech-recognized text file (or ClipWriter text) exist and can be loaded into the Player or Recorder.
Head in profile	This dictation is currently loaded and in use and so cannot be loaded by anyone else until the current user has finished with it.
Loudspeaker & envelope	Dictation was sent by e-mail.  Cannot be loaded until an Answer (typed-up text) is received and imported, or the dictation is selected and unblocked.
