Operating the Player with the keyboard

The Player can be operated with the footswitch, mouse or keyboard or with the innovative ClipWriter function.  A full explanation is given under ClipWriter window.  The footswitch can play, stop, fast forward and rewind.  There is an option to control what release of the footswitch does.

Dictation Manager can also be operated with mouse or keyboard. To use the keyboard hotkeys for playback, Dictation Manager must be closed (do this by clicking on the yellow Folder Symbol ). If the Dictation Manager is open, then the keyboard is used to navigate through the various dictation folders and select/modify dictation details.

The Player can be controlled by a hand-mike for product demonstration purposes.  The keys for hand-held mikes, Philips DPM 9400i/9450 and Olympus DS-330/660 devices are defined below:
