You can split dictations in the Recorder or Player into several parts in order to allow more typists to work in parallel on the same dictation. The original dictation is kept intact, and each dictation part is assigned any attached files associated with the original, so that each typist has the necessary documents. The parts receive a new batch number, so that they can be easily identified and processed together.
Only a dictation already saved and closed, and then re-loaded without changes can be split.
Only dictations in standard GSM or PCM codec .WAV format can be split, and not dictations from mobile voice recorders in .DSS or other format.

Split at the index markers
The dictation is split according to the Indices set by the user.
Split from the current position to the end of dictation
The dictation is split into two separate parts; from the beginning to the current position, and from the current position to the end.
Into...
You can split the dictation into equally sized parts automatically and select the number of parts. Each part must be a minimum 30 seconds long.

The length of the overlap between adjacent parts can be set, between 0 and 10 seconds. Each part will contain a few seconds from the previous and following parts to avoid words being split between the separate parts.
